.We are currently reviewing the results of the audit and working on a number of updates, both large and small, to DefyxVPN. Our goal is to further improve the app’s security and quality while maintaining its performance and user experience.
The findings from these reviews are shared confidentially with development teams, giving them enough time to investigate and address any potential issues before they are publicly disclosed. This also ensures that technical details about vulnerabilities are not made available to people who could potentially exploit them before they have been fixed. Therefore, the fact that an app has undergone an audit or received a confidential report does not, by itself, mean that it has a serious security issue or is unsafe to use. In fact, the purpose of this process is precisely to identify and address potential issues before they can be exploited.
Sharing this information is also part of the transparency we believe users deserve. We believe that independent security audits and collaboration between development and security teams are among the best ways to build software that is safer and more trustworthy.
